list of equipment needed for an quail hunting trip

1. Shotgun - Any shotgun from .410 to .12ga will work fine. Birdshot to a duck hunting load will be great (lighter the better).

2. Shells - Always, ALWAYS bring more than you think you'll shoot. - little worse than running out of bait when the hunting is good

3. A Good Bird Dog - not necessary but nice to have for retrieving your birds

4. Shooting Vest - holds your birds and plenty of shells

5. Water - lots of walking and standing in the sun, be prepared.

6. Flashlight - if you find the right spot, you may be coming out after dark.

7. Sunglasses - you will be in the sun most of the time

8. Shotgun Sling and Shotgun Holster - expect to be carrying your gun at all day
