They have no scales and the scientific name of Catfish is Anarhichas Lupus. There are around 35 catfish families, which are found in four different varieties including Blue Catfish, Channel Catfish, White Catfish and Flathead Catfish. Catfish eat crustaceans, insects, worms and molloscus. Channel Catfish and Bullheads also feed on dead decaying organisms. Most varieties of catfish are popular food all over the world and some like Ictalurids are farmed in North America, while Clariids and Pangasiids are naturally found in many parts of Asia and Africa.
