Antelope hunting has always been a family trip.
We would all put in a group license and the four of us would wait all year for the hunt.
We liked to go in Wyoming right near Wheatland reservoir that way we could fish to.
We would show up a few days early so we could get our camp set up and do a little fishing
Then on opening day we would all start out I found that first thing on opening day the antelope were very easy to get close to after about an hour they got a lot harder to get near so that’s when the hunt really begins. The one thing that always gets antelope is there curiosity they just cant help themselves we would take a white strip of cloth and tie it to a stick on the top of a hill the antelope would see it and they would always come to see what it was. In fourteen year we never went home with out filling a tag!
